Notes from quick email
- Pay Attention:
If people paid attention, those who are smart will never need to be taught. those who are less perceptive can still see the benefits of allowing everyone to…
- Stay out of each other’s way:
having to move around anyone’s way means swings a creature gets that could have been avoided. A fighter than can move from one creature to another fluidily is a more effective fighter, not only from their ranks but because they can choose where and when to engage creatures for maximum damage output.
- Communicate intent no just by saying but by consistent action:
- that means to party creep up. No non-bricking healers standing in a combat zone, not pay attention. If a healer who is not bricking is in the combat zone they should move as fighters to: using their movements to put a creature in the best place for others to get to it. If you cad and walk away: stay outside the combat zone when you do.
- the combat zone is fluid. it can move a little N, a little S etc. so…
- Designate a point fighter: 'the point of a spear always faces the enemy’. so all other fighters & healers should follow their point toward the greatest danger. What your point attacks: you attack. etc.
